Hyosung GT650R priced at 4.5 Lakh, coming on 19 April

Hyosung GT650R which a CKD bike from Hyosung Garware Motors will be available from April 19, this year. And this is another good news for the bike lovers that it will will be available with the announced price tag of Rs. 4.5 despite announcement of increased excise duty on the CKD parts by the Indian Government.
In the budget 2011, the Indian Government has announced 60 per cent excise duty for the CKD parts but most of the CKD bike providers have decided to bring their bikes at previously announced price range. Before few days back, Harley Davidson also claimed to launch its two new cruisers, Harley Davidson Iron 883 and Harley Davidson SuperLow, at announced price range.
In year 2010, Korea based Hyosung Motors made a joint venture with India based Garware motors. The company announced three new bikes for Indians such as Hyosung GT 650R, Hyosung GT 650 and Hyosung ST7 Cruiser. Now the company is going to sell out Hyosung GT 650R from April 19 at the same price that was announced earlier. But the on-road price of the bike will be somewhere around Rs. 5 lakh.
Hyosung GT650R has been popular bike in world market, it will be available at comparatively less price range than Japanese imported or CKD bikes like Honda CBR 1000R, Suzuki GXR 1000R, Suzuki Bandit, etc. The new super bike is powered by a DOHC, V-twin 2 cylinders, 650 cc engine. This powerful and dynamic engine of the bike is to produce max power of 54.2kw /@9000rpm and churns out a maximum torque of 60.9 Nm /@ 7250rpm. The engine is furnished with 81.5 mm Cylinder Bore and 65 mm Stoke. It is packed with 6 Speed Transmission with wet multi plate for easy shifting of gears.
