Hyosung ST7 presented to Arjun Rampal

Garware Motors along with S&T Motors Corporation announced the launch of Hyosung GT 650R (Sportsbike) and Hysoung ST7 (Cruiser) in Mumbai today. Bollywood heartthrob Arjun Rampal became the first customer to own the mean machine in India. Ms. Diya Garware, Managing Director, Garware Motors presented the actor with the keys to the powerful ST 7 at an event held in Mumbai today.
The newly launched bikes are available at an introductory price of Rs.4,97,000 for single tone color and Rs. 5,13,000 for dual tone color for GT650R whereas Rs. 5,96,000 for ST 7 (all ex-showroom prices). This introductory price will be only available on limited edition bikes. The bookings for bikes commenced from 21st April 2011 and customers can expect the delivery by end of May 2011.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Diya Garware, said “It gives us immense pleasure to be the first Indian company to launch superbikes in the 650 – 700 cc segments. We are very pleased to bring to India the Hyosung bikes by S&T Motors of South Korea. The bikes will provide the bike enthusiasts a superior technology and styling. There is a significant potential for these bikes in the markets across India and the same can be gauged from the buzz that these bikes have created even before their launch. GT650R and ST 7 will be a great product for the biking community and bike aficionados in India especially for the young upwardly mobile professionals. We are delighted to have Arjun as our first customer. He embodies what the bikes stand for; power, style, and performance. We are sure that both GT650R and ST7 will be able to meet and exceed customer expectations.”
Speaking at the event, Arjun Rampal said, “I am happy that Garware Motors have finally brought the Hyosung Bikes to India. I have been waiting to ride them on the Indian roads. Biking is more than a passion for me, it’s my obsession. The ST7 is exactly what I was looking for in a bike. I am proud to be the first owner of the Hyosung superbike in India.
