The iconic British motorcycle manufacturer released an sketch of its entry level performance machine at 2013 EICMA, christened as Daytona 250. Now, a German online magazine managed to capture some spy shots of the bike. There was a group of bikers with full riding gears riding the test mules. The bikes were not camouflaged, however fully painted in a single colour to hide the identity of the bike.
The bike is to be manufactured for both export and domestic sales at Triumph's Indian facility, which is in development stage currently. A newly developed 250cc, single cylinder engine will be used to power this baby Daytona and its appearance will be inspired by the elder sibling Daytona 675.
The original bike looks almost similar to the sketch unveiled by the company. It receives typical Daytona twin headlamps with full body fairing, which makes it feel like full size track machine. The bike is expected to feature all the advanced features like front and rear disc brakes with ABS, fully digital instrument console, LED tail lamp, clip-on handle bars and others.
Recently, the company has launched its superbikes in India at a very reasonable price. So, we are expecting the bike at fairly reasonable price of Rs. 2.5 lakh.
