The past week has been very exciting for the automotive enthusiasts in the country. From new electrifying launches, great year-end discounts being offered, to upcoming motorcycles being spied on. Here’s a quick recap all the action which took place in case you missed out.
Bajaj Chetak 35 Series Launched in India
Bajaj launched the 35 Series of the Chetak electric scooter in India. The new Chetak comes with many changes such as a new chassis, repositioned and larger battery pack providing longer range, more features and a larger under-seat storage capacity. The scooter is available in three variants and the prices for the new Bajaj Chetak start from Rs 1,20,000 (ex-showroom, Bangalore) onwards.
Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition
Hero has launched the Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition in India. The motorcycle is based upon the Xpulse 200 4V Pro and shares the same underpinnings. It does get a brand-new livery which is inspired by the Dakar Rally in which Hero competes. The Dakar Edition is now the top variant in the Xpulse 200 4V lineup and costs Rs 1,67,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Launched in India
Kawasaki has launched the Ninja 1100SX in India, it fills the void which was created when the Ninja 1000SX was discontinued. The Ninja 1100SX comes with a bigger capacity engine than the Ninja 1000SX but makes less torque and power. Though Kawasaki claims that the peak power and torque produced by the Ninja 1100SX is earlier in the rev range which makes the riding experience better. It is priced at Rs 13,49,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
KTM 390 SMC R Spied Testing in India
The KTM 390 SMC R has been spotted testing in India for the first time ever. The motorcycle comes in the Supermoto category of motorcycle as it gets the same design as the 390 Enduro R but gets 17-inch spoke wheels with road-biased tyres. More interesting details were noticed in the spy shots making the bike a force to be reckoned with.
Massive Discounts Offered on the Triumph Speed T4
Triumph India is offering massive year-end discounts on the recently launched Speed T4. It gets a discount of Rs 18,000 on the ex-showroom price of the motorcycle which makes it an amazing deal. Though the discount is being offered for a limited period of time, so if you want to get your hands on a Triumph Speed T4, now might be the best time.
