After waiting for more than three months, Jawa will finally start delivering the Jawa and Forty Two across India
- While the Jawa is priced at Rs 1.64 lakh, the Forty Two will retail at Rs 1.55 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom).
- The company is planning to launch 105 dealerships across the country as per its Phase-I plans.
- Due to the high demand for the Jawa and Forty Two, the company has pushed the bookings for the Perak to September 2019.
If you have booked yourself a Jawa motorcycle, then here’s something that will cheer you up. The resurrected brand has announced that it will start delivering the first batch of the Jawa and the Jawa Forty Two by the end of this month. Both the motorcycles received such a tremendous response that they were sold out till September 2019. This led Jawa to increase the production of both the motorcycles. As a result, the company had to push bookings for the Perak to September.
Currently, Jawa is busy expanding its dealer network. And as per its Phase-I plan, the company is aiming to open 105 showrooms across the country. Just to help you understand how fast things are moving for the brand, it has launched more than 25 dealerships across India in the last 20 days!
Coming to the motorcycles, both the Jawa and the Forty Two are powered by a 293cc, liquid-cooled engine that pumps out 27PS of power and 28Nm of max torque. The Perak, on the other hand, is powered by a 334cc motor that produces 30.4PS of power and 31Nm of torque. The Jawa and the Forty Two are priced at Rs 1.64 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh, respectively (both prices are ex-showroom Delhi). As mentioned earlier, the Perak isn’t going on sale anytime soon, but when it does, we expect it to be priced under Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
