With this, the company is just five dealerships away from completing its Phase-I plans
- Jawa to open four new dealerships this week.
- Deliveries of the Jawa and the Forty Two have already begun.
- Jawa will launch the Perak in the latter half of this year.
As per Jawa’s Phase-I plans, it’s aiming to open 105 dealerships in India -- and guess what? The company is all set to hit a century by the end of this week. The new dealerships will be inaugurated in Tirupati, Hubli, Jamshedpur and Tinsukia.
It’s been just five months since Jawa was relaunched in India and it’s quite an achievement for a brand to open 100 dealerships in such a short time frame. The response from enthusiasts and loyalists have been so overwhelming that both the motorcycles are sold out till September 2019. As a result of this, the company had to ramp up production of the Jawa and the Forty Two at its Pithampur facility. Additionally, the bikemaker even had to push the launch of Perak to the latter half of this year.
The company recently held an auction to help Indian Armed Forces, where chassis number 1 was auctioned for a whopping Rs 45 lakh! In total, Jawa managed to raise Rs 1.43 crore during the event.
