It comes in two variants, E-luna X1 and E-Luna X2, and offers a claimed range of up to 110km
Kinetic Green has launched the E-Luna electric moped in India. It comes in two variants, the E-luna X1 is available at Rs 69,990 while the E-Luna X2 costs Rs 74,990 (ex-showroom). Both variants get five colour options including Mulberry Red, Ocean Blue, Pearl Yellow, Sparkling Green and Night Star Black.
The E-Luna X1 variant is equipped with a 1.7kWh IP67-rated lithium-ion battery pack that delivers a claimed range of up to 90km on a single charge with a 3-hour charging time whereas the X2 variant gets a 2kWh lithium-ion battery pack that offers a 110km claimed range with a 4-hour charging time. The electric moped features a 1.2kW electric motor and has a claimed top speed of 50kmph.
In terms of features, the E-Luna comes with a digital instrument console that displays the speedometer, odometer, battery, range and other basic tell-tale lights. It also gets a USB charging port and has a detachable rear seat. The electric moped uses a bulb lighting setup for its headlight, taillight and indicators. Additional features include a side stand sensor, standard leg guard and up to 150kg load-carrying capacity.
The Kinetic Green E-Luna comes fitted with a telescopic fork and twin rear shocks. It gets drum brakes on both ends, with CBS (Combined Braking System) as standard. The electric moped is equipped with 16-inch front and rear spoked wheels. It has a 170mm ground clearance and has a kerb weight of 96kg.
The Kinetic Green E-Luna is also available to purchase online at Flipkart. It will directly rival the Okinawa Dual 100 and will be an electric alternative to the TVS XL100.
