Most of the motorbike manufacturers in India are giving different offers with their products to increase their sales during the festive season. However, the Austrian major KTM through the Indian Bajaj Auto thought that the on spot delivery of their Duke 390 it self is an exciting offer for the bike enthusiasts.
Yes, the Bajaj-KTM pro biking dealerships have started the on spot deliveries of the awaited KTM Duke 390. Due to the large backlog in the deliveries of the bike, it is available at some popular dealerships in a limited number of units. Different dealers are giving their advertisements in different newspapers, about the on-the- spot delivery of the bike.
The bike was launched on 25th June 2013, while the key was handed over to the first owner on the KTM Orange Day, Delhi on 28 September 2013. And as per the previous month's data, the bookings of the bike had reached to 1500 plus. The reason behind the long backlog in the deliveries is the problem in their Chakan Plant, where the company manufactures these performance bikes for both domestic and export sales.
KTM Duke 390 is a naked sport bike, which comes with a 375cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. The aggressive looking bike churns out a maximum power of 43bhp, which is the highest in India in the respective segment. Other exciting features of the bike are lightweight tubular space frame, wide front and rear tyres, 43mm up-side down forks at front, WP mono-shock suspension at the rear, compact three chamber, under frame muffler, better fuel economy with fuel injection and large disk brakes assisted by ABS on both the front and rear wheels. The bike costs Rs 2.08 lakh on-road, Jaipur and on-spot delivery offer is looking like a limited festive offer. So don't just waste time and grab your monster as soon as you can.
