One of the most anticipated motorcycles in India, Mahindra Mojo 300, has been spotted at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. So, can we expected that finally the bike is ready to launch? The reason of this question is the huge delay in launching this motorcycle. The first prototype of the bike was showcased at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo and after 2 years, the final model unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in February. Now, almost after 10 months, the bike has not been released. However, this time we are expecting a positive answer for this question.
The upcoming Mahindra Mojo 300 is an entry-level-performance motorcycle with a 295cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC engine. It has been bolted on a golden frame having two golden ribs below the fuel tank, which is a cosmetic part of the bike as well. The motorcycle has an aggressive roadster style aesthetics having twin pod headlamp with LED DRLs, masculine fuel tank, raised tail, fat tyres and twin exhaust.
You can see the light spider web alloys, golden inverted front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension with the upcoming Mahindra Mojo in the pics. The dual disc brake system will be standard and the bike might also get ABS, which can be optional. It will run on the sticky Pirelli Sport Demon tyres, and the expected sizes are 110/70 front and 140/70 rear.
Mahindra will price this bike very competitively against the Honda CBR250R, KTM motorcycles and others available in the respective segment in India.
