Update: The latest picture of a Mahindra Mojo's invoice has revealed that the upcoming motorcycle, which was expected to be priced between Rs. 1.5-1.6 lac is going to carry a price tag of over Rs. 2 lacs. According to the bill, the ex-showroom price of the bike in Pune will be Rs. 2.16 lacs (including 12.5% of VAT). Now we have to see that how Mahindra will justify this much high pricing of the bike when rivals like KTM 390 Duke and Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 are standing in front.

Mahindra’s upcoming and only two-wheeler of 292cc engine ‘Mojo’ will be available for Indian customers at an introductory price of Rs 1,62,500 (Ex-showroom price) which is around Rs 1.92 lac (on-road price). As per launching schedule, the much awaited Mahindra Mojo will make its debut on October 16, 2015, and the dealers have commenced taking advance bookings with an initial token amount of Rs 10,000.

The company has already announced that it will be taking first few lucky customers on a free weekend trip, along with the same, the manufacturer also offered free riding jackets and extended warranty period. Although, Mahindra dealers in four different cities i.e. Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore have already received few units of this naked street fighter ‘Mojo’ for display purpose, ahead of its launch. The interested buyers can also get the feel and test ride of this upcoming premium tourer before the official launch.

Engine: 292cc liquid cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine.
Maximum power and torque: 27bhp and 29.4Nm.
Gearbox: 6-speed manual gearbox.
Maximum speed: 165 kmph.
Fuel economy: 35 kmpl.
Tyres: 17-inch Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres of dimension 110/70/ZR17 (front) and 150/60/ZR17 (rear).
Braking: Disc brakes of 320mm (front) and 240mm (rear).
In India, the bike will face a tough competition from the likes of the KTM Duke 200 and the Duke 390 who are already dominating the segment.
