The new colour scheme comes at no additional cost
Mahindra Two Wheelers has introduced a new 'Ocean Blue' colour for their top-spec Mojo XT300. The new colour, which was already available on the UT300, comes at no additional cost and adds a much-needed cosmetic option alongside the older red paint options. The Mojo XT300 continues to be priced at Rs 1.79 lakh (ex-showroom India).
Mahindra offers the Mojo in two variants - UT300 and XT300. Both the variants are powered by the same 295cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 27PS of power and 30Nm of torque. However, the Mojo XT300 gets a fuel injected engine, whereas the UT300, being the more affordable one, gets a carbureted engine.
Other difference include the added advantage of more premium USD forks on the Mojo XT300, while the Mojo UT300 has to settle for conventional forks. Braking duties on both motorcycles are handled by a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
While the Mojo turned a lot of heads when it was launched back in 2010, it has failed to deliver in terms of outright sales figures. Can the new colour help change its fortunes? Perhaps not, but it'll serve as a great alternative for prospective buyers.
