Mahindra Rolled Back 70% Stake To Engines Engineering Firm

Mahindra and Mahindra rolled back its 70% stake from Engines Engineering company, loosing the ownership rights over this company. This decision from Mahindra and Mahindra company surprised even their business rival companies in India, because Mahindra and Mahindra was gearing for MotoGP. Mahindra brought 70% of stake, 3 years back in this Italian engine and design firm. Recently, Mahindra company laid off its hands from ownership rights on Engines Engineering which is an Italian based firm. Mahindra handed back its ownership rights back to its promoter Alberto Strazzari.

 

Mahindra and Mahindra is an India based multinational automobile manufacturing company. Mahindra company is one of India's largest automobile manufacturing company. This comapny has it headquarters in Mumbai, India. This company pioneers in automobile manufacturing segment. Mahindra and Mahindra manufactures utility vans, commercial vehicles, passenger cars, and two wheelers. Mahindra and Mahindra made agreements with Engine Engineering company, for designing and developing gear box for Stallio 110, infact to be precise designed gearbox for Mahindra Stallio 110, which is getting for its launch in Indian automobile market very soon. Engines Engineering designed sports bike for Mahindra company which was named Mahindra Mojo 300. Now, it looks like Mahindra Mojo 300 is getting distant to reality.

 

Engines Engineering clients are mostly mostly motorcycle manufacturers like Honda, Ducati, and Yamaha. This Italian firm believes that it can run show, even after Mahindra pulls of its 70% stake from Engines Engineering company. Apart from Mahindra, Engines Engineering design company has many other motorcycle giants as its client base. Engines Engineering fell that with the exit of Mahindra company, will not affect the companies continuity. Engines Engineering played a major role in re-designing and developing of Royal Enfield engine. Engines Engineering applied its designs to Royal Enfield engine, making it more fuel efficient and more reliable motorcycle. It will be interesting to watch, what these recent developments between Indian automobile giant Mahindra and Italian Engine Design Company will lead to in the future.
