Mahindra's upcoming 110cc scooter- G101 to get Smart Remote Flip Key

As we reported earlier, Indian two-wheeler manufacturer- Mahindra is about to launch its first 110cc scooter- G101 (code name) in India with some class apart features. Now, the latest report on the scooter claims that it will get the Smart Remote Flip Key feature, which already comes with the Centuro.

Mahindra G101 will be introduced as a new family scooter in the market against the Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter and Yamaha Alpha. It will sport a new 110cc, 4-stroke, forced air-cooled mill, which might be based on the MCi-5 (Micro Chip ignited-5 Curve) technology. Mated with a CVT box, the engine is expected to churn out around 8bhp of maximum power.

The company will provide a very basic appearance to the scooter and it will receive all the standard features of a modern day scooter. Mahindra might also offer its new patented features- anti theft alarm, find me lamps, guide lamps and distance to empty meter with the scooter.

Wheels of Mahindra G101 are looking bigger than the segment leader- Honda Activa and might donne 12-inch rims. Front suspensions of the scooter are telescopic, while the rear can be unit hydraulic damper with spring aid. It will also get an easy access kick to crank the engine like TVS Jupiter, while seating on the rider's position.
