Mahindra to launch new Kine 80cc in March

Mahindra two-wheelers to launch its new scooter 'Mahindra Kine 80cc' in India. It will be followed by gearless scooter segment in the market. The company has announced launched date, it will introduce it in March, 2010. Mahindra Kine is a part of the case that was inherited from Kinetic Group. Mahindra Two-Wheelers has developed this model with its overseas Italian partner Engines Engineering and Taiwan's Sanyang. The scooter has loaded with 80cc engine capacity for better performance. The model will start to be manufactured from the company's Pithampur plant soon. It is a gearless scooter model, company hopes to give a tuff competition to competitor such as Suzuki motors, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) and TVS Motors, which has already introduced same class models in auto Market. Mahindra had committed to debut in the motorcycle segment in this year. The new motorcycle expected to be produced on a new platform with inputs from included abroad partner's helps. It will also introduce all types of motorcycles in the country closely looking at the mid-market segment and high-end bike segment in Indian auto market.
