Mahindra to Unveil Genze, Launch Mojo Tribe and Display Peugeot Scooters at Auto Expo

The domestic two-wheeler manufacturer- Mahindra Two Wheelers has announced to unveil its first electric scooter- Genze in India at the upcoming Auto Expo 2016. The company also confirmed the launch of Mojo Tribe and display of Peugeot scooters at the motor show along with the existing range of Mahindra two-wheelers and its Moto3 bike- MGP30. All these exciting activities will take place in the presence of Dr. Pawan Goenka, Executive Director, M&M; Mr. Rajesh Jejurikar, President & Chief Executive, Farm Equipment & Two Wheeler Division, M&M; Mr. Vishwesh M. Palekar, President & CEO, Mahindra Genze and Mr. Vinod Sahay, Chief Operating Officer, Mahindra Two Wheelers on February 3.
Mahindra Genze is a very advanced electric two-wheeler that comes with some very innovative features like a 12V charging sockets at the front and the rear to connect peripheral devices on the go. A 1.6kwh Li-ion removable battery pack powers the motor of the Genze, which can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in 3.5 hours and provides a range of 50kms. The scooter is capable of achieving a speed from 0 to 100kmph in just 8 seconds and it comes with front and rear disc brakes to control over.
On the other hand, with the launch of Mojo Tribe, Mahindra is taking an initiative to promote motorcycling culture in India. Like a few other brands, the company is planning to make a group of Mojo 300 owners that are interested in traveling on motorcycles and want to participate in group rides.
Mahindra is also going to showcase some scooters of the French brand- Peugeot that is now owned by the Indian manufacturer. The company has not announced the name of the scooters going to be showcased, however, we can expect to see Django, Speedfight, Satelis and Metropolis at the event.
