New emission norms cause Hero-Honda split

The Indian emission norms are to get changed from Bharat III to Bharat IV by the year 2015 and also it is known that this had been one of reason for the Honda group of Japan to depart from the Hero group. As per this new norms, all the companies are expected to inculcate their products with latest and most advanced technologies making them environment friendly. The new norms are to be imposed on the country's vehicles so as to put a stop on increasing pollution caused by these vehicles. All the two-wheeler companies have upgraded their vehicles to Bharat III norms few months back that includes Bajaj, TVS, Hero Honda, Suzuki, Honda, etc.



As per industry news, it is acquired that the Honda and other global two wheeler manufacturers are investing heavily to inculcate their models with newer and advanced technology so as to meet the demanded norms. As India in the year 2015 will impose BS-IV, the European region is to impose a further version of Euro V. The idea is to be practiced so as to make this earth worth living with lowering the affect of global warming.

Honda India with its advanced and most efficient technological features is all ready to face the new norms of emission standards. Splendor from Hero Honda which is the most famous was initially running on BS-II engine and just in the month of June was upgraded by BS-III standard emission norm.
