Okinawa has launched updated versions of its Praise Pro and iPrase+ e-scooters. This announcement comes after the brand inaugurated its first global R&D center in collaboration with its JV partner, Tacita, from Italy.

Although the specs on the scooters remain unchanged. Okinawa states that the e-scooters now get a more rigid frame which not only helps with improving the packaging but also helps improve rider’s comfort and ergos. Features wise, both the scooters now get a colour digital dash, giving them a premium touch. The motor too now gets CAN-compatibility that helps the BMS understand various electrical parameters, enabling the scooter’s brain to detect any sort of issues that might crop up.
According to the company, the scooters now pack a host of safety features and are available in eight new color options. Okinawa asserts that the new Praise Pro and iPraise+ now have an AIS -156 battery pack to comply with the latest government norms.
Deliveries of the new Praise platform scooters have commenced and now customers can get the Praise Pro at Rs. 99,645, whereas the iPraise+ will retail for around Rs. 1,45,965 (both ex-showroom including Fame 2 subsidies).
