Purchase for the Ola S1 starts from September 8 and the deliveries are scheduled from October

After much anticipation, Ola launched the S1 electric scooter in India on August 15. It’s offered in two variants: S1 and S1 Pro. The asking price for the S1 is set to Rs 99,999 while the S1 Pro retails at Rs 1,29,999 (both ex-showroom Bengaluru and inclusive Fame II subsidy). Moreover, Ola offers the S1 in 5 colours and the S1 Pro gets 10 paint options to choose from. Here’s the full list.

Anthracite

While it appears to be black, the Anthracite paint is a dark grey colour. It goes well with the OEM black painted alloys, mirror and black seat cover. Its matte finish accentuates the bodywork without being flashy or in your face.

Coral Red

The Coral Red paint finish on the Ola S1 has to be one of the most vibrantand bright colours on the list. It’s finished in gloss and contrasts the black alloy, seat as well as footboard. Furthermore, the integrated side stand and the footpeg (also finished in black) add for an aesthetic touch.

Marshmallow

If you fancy a light colour from the palette without really being tacky, the Marshmallow paint could make for a good option. It’s a shade of yellow but not too bright or loud. Not to mention, the stock black finished parts contrast the Marshmallow scheme pretty well.

Jet Black

Another colour with gloss-finished for the Ola S1 electric is the Jett Black option. Right from the front fender to the inside apron and the side panels, every part is covered in Black. Gelling up with the minimal bodywork, the monotone finish looks quite stealthy.

Porcelain White

A white and black combination can never go wrong, the Ola S1 looks a class apart in the Porcelain White finish. While all the colours look and contrast the seat, mirror, side stand and alloys pretty well, White stays right at the top to do so. However, the said colour usually needs quite some attention to make the scooter look squeaky clean.

Neo Blue (S1 Pro Only)

Finished in the Neo Blue colour, the Ola S1 gets a very sophisticated look. It could make for a decent choice for the office going crowd or someone who wants to ride the e-scooter without a funky and attention-grabbing colour. The contrasting stitching (present on all the colours) adds for a good touch too.

Liquid Silver (S1 Pro Only)

Of the bat, this colour comes off as one of the most premium options. Its gloss finish gives the front and side panels an adequate amount of flare and makes sure the S1’s presence to be felt. Zipping around the city or parked outside your local cafe, the Liquid Silver colour on the Ola e-scooter surely seems to garner attention.

Millennial Pink (S1 Pro Only)

As the name suggests, the Millennial Pink is one of the most youthful paint options. Its gloss finish too adds the right amount of flare to the bodywork and accentuates the flowing lines on the side panels. However, the Ola logo at the front isn’t the most visible with its silver-ish finish.

Midnight Blue (S1 Pro Only)

Find the Neo Blue a bit brighter than your taste? Fret not, the Midnight Blue can save your day. Probably the darkest paint scheme after the Black and Anthracite colours, the Midnight Blue is your third stealth option. Its matte finish seems to be done just right and the contrast too seems in proportion to the parts with black treatment.

Matte Black (S1 Pro Only)

As the name gives it away, the last paint option for your Ola S1 is the Matte Black colour. It’s one of the most demanded aftermarket paint schemes as not a lot of manufacturers offer it as an OEM option. But thankfully, Ola does. The Matte Black coat screams stealth and even the stand and the footpegs are barely visible in the pictures.
