Ola Electric has launched the S1 X 4kWh variant at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom including FAME 2 subsidy). The company also announced an increase in Ola service centres, a bigger charging network, and increased battery warranty across India.
Ola S1 X 4kWh variant
Launched at Rs 1,09,999, the Ola S1 X 4kWh is now the manufacturer’s biggest capacity S1 X variant with a 4kWh battery that delivers a claimed range of 190km on a single charge, as compared to the 143km range of the 3kWh variant. As per Ola’s claims, the electric scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 90kmph, same as the S1 X 3kWh variant.
Ola has also announced that customers can now book the S1 X 2kWh and S1 X 3kWh variants, with starting prices of Rs 79,999 and Rs 89,999 (all prices ex-showroom including FAME 2 subsidy), respectively. The S1 X’s deliveries will start from April 2024.
Ola Service Center, Charging Network & Battery Warranty Announcements
Ola has also announced an increase in the number of Ola service centres across India. The manufacturer plans to increase its service network by 50 percent and will set up 600 Ola service centres around the country by April 2024.
Along with the increase in the service network, the EV manufacturer also aims to increase the charger network by 10 times from its existing network consisting of 1,000 chargers. Ola announced the availability of 10,000 charging stations across the country by the next quarter (June). The manufacturers will set up fast chargers that offer 75 percent faster charging than the home charger and will provide a 50km range in approx 20 minutes. Customers can also purchase this fast charger for Rs 29,999.

Another big announcement by the manufacturer includes an 8-year/80,000km standard battery warranty for its electric scooters at no extra cost. Along with this, customers will also be able to buy an extended battery warranty of 1,00,000km for Rs 4,999 and 1,25,000 for Rs 12,999.
