Ola has made a few changes to the S1 X range to keep prices competitive, such as the use of a simpler handlebar setup, the addition of a physical key and a 4.3-inch LCD screen instead of a TFT screen like we have seen on the Ola S1 Air and Ola S1 Pro. Additionally, the electric mobility promotion scheme has also helped keep the ex-showroom prices down by Rs 10,000.
The Ola S1 X variants come with different levels of range. The S1 X 4kWh variant offers a claimed IDC (Indian driving conditions) range of 190km and a claimed top speed of 90kmph, whereas the S1 X 3kWh variant offers a 143km claimed IDC range and a claimed top speed of 90kmph. The most affordable S1 X 2kWh variant offers a claimed IDC range of 95km but, at 85kmph, has a lower claimed top speed.
In terms of features, the e-scooters in S1 X lineup gets smartphone connectivity through the Ola app along with cruise control and a reverse mode. Additionally, all variants offer a 34-litre boot space.
Scooters in the Ola S1 X lineup compete with other affordable electric scooters in the market such as the Ather 450S, Ampere Magnus EX, Hero Electric Optima and the Okinawa PraisePro.
