Only 10 Units of Limited Edition of Moto Guzzi V7 II Stornello to Reach Australia

Last year, 73rd EICMA witnessed the Moto Guzzi V7 II Stornello Limited Edition and now this bike is on its way to Australia. According to reports, only 10 pieces of Limited Edition V7 II Stornello will hit the Aussie Shores. Moto Guzzi Australia has confirmed that the bike will be available in the authorised dealership by May 2016 at a price tag of $16.5K (INR 8 lac).
V7 II Stornello Limited Edition features:
Limited Edition V7 II Stornello is designed on the Moto Guzzi V7 II platform that is already being used in the current offerings Stone, Special and Racer. Besides this, V7 II Stornello comes with the same 90° Transverse V-Twin 750cc engine that is mated to a 6-speed transmission and uses Weber-Marelli fuel injection system. The motorcycle has been equipped with 2 in 1 Arrow exhaust, aluminium mudguards, satin finished aluminium side number plates, polished alloy wheels and dedicated Stornello graphics. The headstock of each and every bike of this limited edition houses the laser inscribed production number. Apart from this, the bike has also been loaded with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and disengageable Traction Control (TC).
Original Stornello was developed by Moto Guzzi engineer, Giulio Cesare Carcano and his staff, In 1960. At that time, it was an entry level bike and was lighter in weight making it easy to manage. Then it used to come with a single cylinder, 25° forward inclined engine that belts out 6.9 bhp and attains a maximum speed of 100 kmph.
The bike was fitted with double-cradle open steel tube frame that was welded everywhere by a machine which was designed especially for such kind of a purpose. Soon, it was acknowledged as a popular model all over the world, initially as a practical vehicle and later as a quick motorcycle. The Stornello was available in various variations but the Regolarità was the one which became the renowned machine as it controlled the national and international off-road rivalries. In 1967, Stornello Scrambler was born from the Stornello as an off-road machine. Till 1975, the Stornello remained in the manufacturing process.
