Tired of not getting a resolution to his problems, the owner has gone on YouTube to express his ire
Recently, a YouTuber inconvenienced with the service provided by TVS for his recently bought Apache RTR 160 4V took to the platform to convey his frustration. But that’s not it, the YouTuber also threatened to bury the bike in a ditch that was being dug next to the two-wheeler.
While a few issues regarding parts and tech are likely to arise in new bikes, the after-sales service provided by companies helps tackle these inconveniences. But when that is taken lightly, things get out of hand.

The bike owner complains that in less than eight months of buying the bike, it had started malfunctioning. According to him, the headlight, turn indicators, horn, instrument console and TVS’ SmartXonnect connectivity platform on the bike have ceased working.
According to the owner, despite multiple visits to the service centre, his experience has not been satisfactory and the issues have not been resolved. Apparently, this is a manufacturing defect, and replacing the wires would resolve it, however, the service centre in Palwal, Haryana was yet to get the necessary hardware, as said by the irate bike owner.
Prices for the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V from the Apache series start from Rs 1,21,790 and go up to Rs 1,30,090 (ex-showroom). It rivals the likes of Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ-S V3, Pulsar N160, and the Hero Xtreme 160R.
