Royal Enfield gets new logo, monogram and crest; launches new colours for Thundrbird

Royal Enfield, the legendary motorcycle maker in India, takes one more step in mordanising the brand with its new logo having its name in a new style. The company has replaced the old moniker with new one on all the models including all the Bullet, Classic, Thunderbird and Continental GT. The company has also introduced 2 new colour options with the Thunderbird 350 and 500- Marine and Lightning.
All the Royal Enfield motorcycles in India comes with two engine options 350cc and 500cc, apart from their cafe racer- Continental GT, which comes with a new 535cc mill. All these single cylinder mills, develop a good amount of torque, while producing a great thump, which is the major identity of the RE bikes.
The 350cc, air-cooled engine used in RE bikes comes with twinspark technology making the maximum power output 19.8bhp at 5,250rpm, while the peak torque output is 28Nm coming at just 4,000rpm. The 500cc motor with the RE bikes churns out 27.2bhp of maximum power at 5,250rpm along with a peak torque of 41.3 at 4,000rpm.
Royal Enfield Continental GT sports a 535cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder mill, which belts out 29.1bhp at 5,100rpm and the peak torque goes to 44Nm at 4,000rpm. The new RE mills are mordenised with many advanced technologies like twinspark, Digital Electronic Ignition and EFI, which makes them more reliable.
