One of the trademarks’ design is very similar to one of the earliest logos used by the manufacturer in the 1890s!
Royal Enfield has filed for the trademark of a new logo, for which it has received a ‘Send To Vienna Codification’ status. This means that the trademark application has been forwarded to the World Intellectual Property Organization’s Vienna Classification database, which analyses the figurative elements of the design and determines whether the trademark is unique and suitable for registration.
The cursive font used in the logo is quite similar to the manufacturer’s earlier logo from the 1890s. Interestingly, its iconic trademark “Made Like A Gun” was also introduced with that logo. We think this logo will be used for Royal Enfield’s accessories and apparel range.
The manufacturer has also filed a trademark for another logo which has received the same status as the other one. It is very similar to the logos already present on the Royal Enfield Classic 350’s Chrome Red and Chrome Bronze variants and the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650’s Cali Green, Canyon Red and Mark 2 variants.
So, is there a possibility that we’ll at least see one of these logos on the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 or any other upcoming bikes being launched by the manufacturer in the near future? Well, the first trademark application was filed a day ago, on June 5 2024. And these processes for assessing these applications usually take a few months. So it’s unlikely that we’ll see it on the Guerrilla 450, which is all set to be launched between July 14 - July 17, 2024. We expect to see these logos on Royal Enfield bikes, accessories and apparel by the end of this year or sometime in 2025.
