Royal Enfield sold 27,314 motorcycles in July-2014 with 80% growth

Consistant with the tremendous growth rate, Royal enfield has again registered a noticiable overall increament of 80% in the month of July, 2014. The company sold 27,314 motorcycles in the month compared to the 15,175 units sold during the corresponding month, last year (2013).
The reason behind the achievement is the advanced technology with the conventional thump in all the Royal Enfield motorcycles. The technology helped the company to improve the performance and mileage of the RE line-up including different variants of Bullet, Classic and Thunderbird. The company's new model Continental GT 535 boosted the sales further in both domestic and export markets.
Domestic sales of the Royal Enfield stood at 26,796 units in July-2014, which shows a hike of 80% compared to 14,851 units sold in July-2013. The company seen a growth of 60% in the export field with 518 units sold last month against 324 units sold in the same period last year.
Royal Enfield continues to perform exceptionally well posting record sales and production numbers this quarter and working its way to become a leader in the global mid-sized motorcycling segment by selling 25,303 units in June 2014.
