Royal Enfield to set up milestone in America

Royal Enfield, India’s well-known automotive brand is planning to touch shores of United States. Enfield will setup its showroom in North America’s Milwaukee in 2016. Siddhartha Lal, MD & CEO of Eicher Motors, while speaking to Financial Express came up with the information of setting up a brand new spot for bike lovers in America as the company had started expanding globally in the year 2014.

The company already has its showroom in several outstations which are Colombia, Europe (started in Paris and Madrid this year), Spain, Germany, Dubai, Indonesia and Australia. The company’s showroom in Jakarta is likely to open its door by the end of this year. Royal Enfield is not planning to set manufacturing plants in other countries as it will double the production in its existing plant situated at Chennai. The company release 9 lakh units by 2018  which is the double of its earlier production capacity.

Enfield recently took 50-acre land to set its manufacturing plant in Vallam Vadagal near Chennai. The new plant of the company is 10kms away from its existing plant in Chennai.
