The indigenous electric scooter is powered by a 4.8kWh lithium-ion battery and gets a claimed range of 240km in Eco mode. Its top speed has been limited to 100kmph, and it can go from 0-50kmph in a claimed 3.6 seconds. With these sort of numbers, It should have the Ather 450X in its crosshairs, and in theory should well outdo it in terms of real-world range.
The Simple One will also boast premium features like a touchscreen instrument console with navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and even a removable battery. Moreover, the company is working on setting up public charging stations prior to the launch for convenient charging.
Given its expected launch price of Rs 1.10 lakh, the Simple One will compete with the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, and the soon-to-be-launched Ola e-scooter.
