Suzuki GSX-S1000F Showcased at 2016 Auto Expo

Suzuki showcased its muscular GSX-S1000F today at the 2016 Auto Expo. The bike is displayed along with its naked version GSX-S1000. Both the mills share the same 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that generates a maximum power of 144bhp at 10,000rpm and a peak torque of 105.75Nm at 9,500rpm. The bike comes with a price tag of Rs. 12.70 lac (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The bike has twin headlamps and LED tail lamps with rugged and aggressive looks that are enjoying all the attention at the event. GSX-S1000F has three rider modes- Low for sport/good riding conditions, Middle for city/regular road conditions and High for wet/cold conditions. The instrument console of this bike displays every single information of the machine, which makes the rider stay well informed about different components throughout the ride as one does not need to see each component indications manually.
Talking about measurements, the bike is 2,115mm in length, 795mm in width and 1,180mm in height with a curb mass of 214kg. Also, the GSX-S1000F has a 17-litre fuel tank and the tubeless tyres offered with the bike measure 120/70ZR17M/C (58W) & 190/50ZR17M/C (73W) for the front and the rear respectively. For a comfortable and smooth braking, the bike is equipped with dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear end.
