Japanese bike maker Suzuki is expected to introduce the latest model Suzuki GW250 in India very soon. No more waiting for bike lovers as it will be a matter of few months only when the Suzuki GW250 will vroom on Indian roads. The bike is already in production in China and is expected to be launched in India in August. Suzuki GW250 price in India is expected to be between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh.
Suzuki is expecting a lot from Suzuki GW250 and expects that it will be the centre of attraction of the bike lovers in Indian market. Suzuki found China as a feasible site for production and is already producing GW250 there. The GW250 has liquid cooled twin cylinder 250cc engine that creates 26 bhp at 8500 rpm and generates 24 Nm torque at 7000 rpm. GW250 features are quite similar to Honda CBR250R.
As Suzuki is immensely targeting India as far as GW250 is concerned it is also on a look out for Indian companies that can produce this model. Once they zero in a producer, Suzuki GW250 will be produced in India and may have a lesser price. It will be a great advantage to the company to show that GW250 is home production and they can save some amount from the production and the customers will get this model cheap.
Even Honda has applied the same production model before on Honda CBR 250R and was successful in reducing the price of the bike. Honda has a manufacturing plant located in Thailand, still they tried hard to get the production over India and the only reason behind this reason was to cut down the manufacture cost for Honda CBR250R.
From the past, Suzuki had produced many models but not got much success from it. Only Suzuki Access 125 created a massive hit in Indian market and it was a hot selling model in market. By taking the adventure of Suzuki Access, now the new released model from Suzuki that is GW250 can get better selling point in Indian market. Kawasaki Ninja 250R is also in close competition to the Suzuki and Honda models.
