Suzuki, the renowned Japanese auto manufacturer is planning to launch the much-awaited Gixxer 250 in March 2016. The new quarter-liter motorcycle will initially debut as a supersport machine and it will match its likes with KTM RC200, Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and the Honda CBR250R. The bike will be officially revealed at the Auto Expo 2016, held at New Delhi.

Suzuki Gixxer 250 will be built on a single downtube frame. In order to cope up the extra power, the bike will get a strong underpinning structure. However, the manufacturer has not revealed any specification details yet, but as the name suggests, the bike will be equipped with a 250cc motor in addition with the fuel injection system. It is expected that Gixxer gets revised swingarm, highly efficient brakes provided with ABS and grippy tyres. The upcoming bike might be influenced by Suzuki GSX-R models to flaunts sportier presence on the roads.
Earlier, the Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) has sold out 10,000 Gixxers in the month of October this year and registered a 15 percent of hike in the sales despite Suzuki’s overall sales decreased by 8 percent. So seeing the Gixxer popularity, we can expect that it will bring another big achievement for the manufacturer.
