But there is a problem

In order to differentiate between the two Dominar family members, Bajaj had not given the smaller Dominar 250 the same set of colours as the larger Dominar 400. Rather, you only got to choose between a red and a matte grey-ish black option. Until now, that is, as it seems the green and gloss black options found on the Dominar 400 are now also available on the 250, but only for the citizens of Colombia, not India.

It was quite an easy fix for Bajaj to slap on the green or the black paint on the Domi 250 as both the 250 and the 400 use the same body panels. The only obvious difference was the badging on their tail sections.

Prices of both the Dominar 250 and Dominar 400, in India, have gone up in recent times. The quarter-litre power-cruiser is now priced at Rs 1.70 lakh while the larger Dominar costs north of Rs 2 lakh.
