Indian electric scooter manufacturer, Lectrix EV’s upcoming electric scooter NDuro has been exclusively spotted testing by team BikeDekho, ahead of its launch on December 3, 2024. Although it was covered in a camo wrap, the new spy shots reveal a lot of important information about the scooter.
The upcoming Lectrix NDuro electric scooter seems to have a sporty, sharp yet rugged design. The LED headlight is uniquely placed on the front apron, which complements the overall design and will surely grab attention on the road. The scooter looks decently big in the spy shots along with the chunky wheels, long suspension, spacious seat, and floorboard. It has split grab rails at the back and also features crash guards on either side.
The spy shots further reveal that the Lectrix NDuro has a hub-mounted electric motor and while we don’t have any info on the electric scooter’s power figures and the battery pack, we expect the top variant to deliver a range of around 100km+ on a single charge. Lectrix is also expected to offer battery on a subscription model.
Featurewise, the Lectrix NDuro can be seen equipped with all-LED lights and is likely to have an LCD instrument console which will display all the basic info like speed, odometer, range, battery, and more. The electric scooter seems to have a spacious floorboard, as even with the full-size riding boots, there is still enough space left on the floorboard. There’s a luggage hook on the apron, making it easy to carry groceries, vegetables, and other stuff. The seat also looks quite spacious for 2 people.
The NDuro is equipped with a telescopic fork and twin rear shocks, both of which look slightly longer than usual. In the spy shots, the scooter seems to have chunky 12-inch steel wheels on both ends and the rear wheel also has a small motorcycle-like tyre hugger.
Launch Date & Rivals
The upcoming Lectrix NDuro launch is set to happen on December 3, and we shall know more about it then. The Lectrix NDuro will rival the other premium electric scooters like, Ampere Nexus, Ola S1 X, Ather Rizta, Bajaj Chetak, Vida V1 and the TVS iQube.
