The difference in sales between the two bikes in August 2022 was as close as 796 units
With the launch of the Hunter 350, Royal Enfield planned to target a new set of customers who are younger, ones who traditionally might not associate with the Royal Enfield badge. With its comparatively lightweight nature, sporty handling and excellent pricing, Royal Enfield has already taken the first few steps in the right direction.
So now, more than a month after its launch, how has the retro roadster performed, in terms of sales figures? And does it have the power to take on one of India’s favourite bikes, the Royal Enfield Classic 350? Let’s find out!

While the Classic 350 managed to beat the Hunter 350, coming so close to the former is definitely an achievement for the newest Enfield. That said, it’s worth noting that it’s the first month of the bike being on sale and we’ll have to see how it performs in terms of sales in the subsequent months.
Interestingly, the Classic 350 registered an 18.22 per cent decline in Month-on-Month (MoM) sales in August 2022. Does that mean we might even see the Hunter 350 beat the Classic 350 next month? Being the most affordable Royal Enfield bike underpinned by the J platform, it might just do so!
