Among so many bike enthusiasts of the country, one is Anji Mehra whose vintage bikes are to become a part of an art calendar show, The Unquenchable Road. The show is to take place at Waves Art Gallery from 7th January to 15th January and a huge crowd is expected to attend the same. Anji Mehra is simply passionate for smart and powerful motor bikes and as per his view, bikes are an integral part of the one who is passionate for it. The motor bikes are not noisy and messy instruments but rather are livelihood to him.
Anji Mehra is known to be an artist because of his passionate engagement with bike restoration and his collection of vintage bikes. Anji Mehra is the one who love to ride all kind of bikes and possess an all special attachment with high speed and powered bikes. He always says that motor bikes are as good as a painting on canvas that also require skills of engineers as the paintings do of the experts. He says that the modified bikes are a symbol of more artistic licensing. Anji Mehra is the one who is known world wide for covering a total distance of 18,000 km from England to India in the year 1965 with his ever favourite BSA super rocket which is a 650 twin cylindered bike. The most favourite bikes for modification are Royal Enfield, Bajaj Pulsar, Yamaha etc.
