The electric two wheeler segment is still in its preliminary stages, and the costs of making some of the e-bikes and scooters, sometimes become high. Here are the most expensive electric two wheelers on sale in India currently
Odysse Evoqis (Rs 1.66 lakh)
The Odysse Evoqis a fully faired motorcycle that takes design inspiration from supersport bikes with edgy styling elements. It gets a 3kW BLDC hub motor that produces peak 4.3kW and 64Nm. It can reach a top speed of claimed 80kmph and offers a range of 140km with a 4.3kWh li-ion battery pack.
It features four ride modes, keyless operation and an anti theft lock functionality.
Komaki Ranger (Rs 1.68 lakh)
The Komaki Ranger, as the company claims, is the first electric cruiser in India, and looks strikingly similar to the Cyborg Yoda. The e-bike is powered by a 4kW motor paired to a 3.6kWh lithium-ion battery, capable of achieving a claimed range of 200km in ‘Eco’ mode.
Apart from the impressive specs, the Ranger also gets a host of features that include three riding modes, reverse assist, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity with music and phone control, and a USB charger.

Cyborg Yoda (Rs 1.85 lakh)
With a sticker price of Rs 1.85 lakh, the Cyborg Yoda is not only one of the most expensive electric two wheelers but also one of the first electric cruisers to go on sale in the Indian market. It gets a full fledged cruiser styling and body design.
It is powered by a 8.5kW motor, paired to a 3.24kWh swappable battery pack. The cruiser claims a 90kmph top speed with a 150km of claimed range on the eco mode. It also gets sport and drive riding modes.
Joy e-bike Beast (Rs 2.42 lakh)
This Kawasaki Z900 resembling e-bike is the second most expensive electric two-wheeler Indian market. The Joy e-bike Beast gets a claimed 90kmph top speed and 110km range on a single charge. It is powered by a 5kW BLDC brushless hub motor, producing a massive 230Nm at the wheel. It is paired with a 5.18kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
Completely embracing the sporty nature, the Beast comes suspended on a USD fork and a monoshock. Braking prowess is managed by dual discs up front and a single disc brake at the rear.
Srivaru Motors Prana (Rs 3 lakh)
The most expensive electric two wheeler in the Indian market is also the most performance-oriented one. The Srivaru Motors Prana doesn’t just look like a sportbike (resembling the Kawasaki Z900) but also performs like one. It claims a top speed of 123kmph and an impressive 225km of claimed range. It is propelled by a BLDC brushless hub motor paired with a 7.2kWh battery pack.
Suspended on a telescopic fork and a monoshock, the Prana is anchored by dual disc brakes up front and a single disc at the rear. Apart from that, the e-bike features four ride modes with parking assist.
