The electric bike maker could launch the T6X by the end of this year
- Tork had shared a teaser video of the T6X a few months back.
- The electric motorcycle is expected to be priced at Rs 1.5 lakh.
- Tork claims that the battery has a range of 100km.
Pune-based Tork Motors has laid the foundation for its first fast-charging station in the city. What’s interesting is that customers can plug in and charge up other electric vehicles at Tork’s charging station.
Tork’s charging plans are somewhat similar to that of Ather Energy, who started installed charging stations in Bengaluru before launching its scooters.
Earlier this year, the company had announced that their maiden electric bike, the T6X, can be charged up to 80 per cent in an hour and is capable of a 100km range. Tork Motors first showcased the T6X at the 2016 Auto Expo and since then, there’s been no word from the manufacturer about its official launch. But now that we have already seen a prototype testing and a small teaser video was also shared by Tork, we expect the manufacturer to launch the T6X by the end of this year.
When launched, the Tork will face tough competition from Revolt, which is all set to launch its first showroom in Pune by the end of this week.
Here’s the official press release from the company:
