Aprilia India has listed the Tuono 457 on its official website, suggesting that the bike is set to be launched soon. It was first shown at the EICMA event in November 2024. The details of the bike are now available on the Aprilia India’s website, providing a clearer picture of what to expect from the model.

Design

The Tuono 457 is the naked, street-fighter version of the RS457, meaning it lacks the fairing of the RS. Its design is more upright and relaxed compared to the RS457, with a simple LED headlamp and L-shaped DRLs. The bike will be offered in two colour options in India: red-black and white-silver.

Engine

Powering the Tuono 457 is a 457cc, parallel-twin engine, same as the one found in the RS457. This engine produces 47.55PS and 43.5 Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The option for a bi-directional quickshifter may also be available, offering smoother gear changes.

Features

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is equipped with features like all-LED lighting, traction control, and ride modes. It also comes with a colour TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity.

Hardware

The suspension setup includes a pre-load adjustable USD fork and a monoshock. Braking duties are handled by a disc brake at both ends. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels at both ends with a 110-section front tyre and a 150-section rear tyre. The frame of the Tuono 457 is similar to that of the RS457, but it offers a more upright riding position aimed at comfort.

Launch & Rivals

Once launched, the Tuono 457 will compete with other bikes in the 300-400cc range, such as the TVS Apache RTR 310, the Yamaha MT-03, the KTM 390 Duke, and the BMW G 310 R.
