The naked motorcycle was revealed in a patent filing
- The TNT 600 appears to be the final design for the TNT 600i replacement.
- It is expected to use the TNT 600i’s underpinnings and 600cc powertrain.
- The bike could be launched in India next year.
Benelli has filed yet another patent for the upcoming TNT600 (you can check out the previous designs here and here). The latest one looks closer to being the final production version, though. It appears to have carried over the TNT 600i’s underpinnings and 4-cylinder powertrain as well.
The new patent shows a production-ready headlamp that appears to be styled similar to the Kawasaki Z1000. It appears to have twin projector headlamps. It gets an LED tail lamp and LED turn indicators as well as a full-digital instrument console. The muscular bodywork now has a more pronounced radiator shroud and a compact single-piece seat unit. It gets an underbelly exhaust that replaces the outlandish twin underseat exhaust of the TNT 600i.
The Benelli TNT 600 is expected to carry forward the TNT 600i’s 600cc inline four-cylinder motor with Euro5/BS6 updates. Expect power outputs to differ from the current TNT 600i’s 85.07PS and 54.6Nm. It also appears to use the TNT 600i’s underpinnings consisting of a hybrid trellis frame, an upside-down front fork, side-mounted monoshock, alloy wheels and braking setup consisting of twin 320mm front discs and rear 260mm disc.
The Benelli TNT 600 is expected to be launched globally towards the end of this year. We expect the motorcycle to launch in India by early 2021.
