This day makes for the perfect chance to show your two-wheeled love just how much you care
You know the best thing about February 14 in India? It comes about the right time during the transition from winter to summer. Motorcycles, or even scooters for that matter, are a prized possession of many. With the weather playing its bit, wouldn’t Valentine’s Day make for the perfect time to give a little back, and show some love to your two-wheeler (or wheelers, we’re not judging).
Here are five ways to pamper your prized set of two-wheels on Valentine’s Day:
Give Her Some TLC
Creaks, squeaks, rattles, or something not feeling quite right? This would be the perfect time to pick up a ratchet and get those unwanted niggles taken care of. You could also pamper your two-wheeler by treating her to some fresh engine oil or brake fluid. Wouldn’t this make her sound happier and run smoother?
Draw Her A Bath
Who doesn’t love a set of shiny wheels? This day would be perfect to head down to a detailing studio and get your motorcycle or scooter the makeover it deserves. And by makeover, we don’t mean a graphic kit or wrap, but rather a proper cleaning, after all, she spends a lot of time on our dusty roads. Once that’s done, splurge on a teflon or ceramic coating that you’ve been promising to get her.
Dress Her Up
Get your bike or scooter a set of new hand grips, if they’ve been worn out. Or procure a set of tank grips, to help you get that extra traction as you go corner carving. These smallest of changes can make a big difference for your comfort which allows you to handle the bike better and grab the bars for longer.
Buy Her A Gift
Been on the lookout for an upgrade for quite some time? Now’s the chance to treat your two-wheeler (and let’s face it, yourself) to some new kit. Get those tyres swapped out for better rubber, or buy those crash guards that you’ve constantly been thinking about. Or were you thinking of performance upgrades, wouldn’t today be just perfect?
Take Her Out For The Evening
All of the above is well and good, of course, but what do you have a motorcycle for if not to ride it? Valentine’s Day (and every day, for that matter) is for you to hit the road. Just you and your beloved ride. Enjoy some well-deserved time together.
After all, this is (mostly) more affordable than trying to book a table for two at a fancy restaurant tonight.
