Vikram Pawah Becomes The New MD of Harley-Davidson India

The American leisure motorcycle manufacturer, Harley-Davidson, has trusted an Indian- Vikram Pawah again to hand out the Managing authority of its operations in India.
Mr Pawah has assumed the charge as the MD of Harley Davidson in India and has an rich experience of 24 years, of which 21 years he had worked for Honda in India and Australia and has contributed to the consistent growth of the brand. Pawah has succeeded Mr. Anoop Prakash who was responsible for the company's initiation into India successfully and managed the operations for a little over six years before relocating to manage the company's Canadian business.
Marc McAllister, Vice President and Managing Director, Harley-Davidson Asia Pacific said, “India is an important and growing market for Harley-Davidson, and with Mr. Pawah’s leadership and long experience in the automotive industry, we will seek to expand our presence even further in the country, to allow more customers the opportunity to fulfil their dreams of personal freedom.”

A Delhi University Graduate, IIM-A alumni and International Student of the Year 2000 - Victoria University award winner, Pawah has worked as VP and Operating Head of sales for Honda Cars India Ltd, General Manager CS for Honda Australia, Incharge corporate planning for Honda Siel Power Products, AM- Management Control Unit for Jay Engineering Ltd, Usha International Ltd and Fun Foods India Pvt Ltd.

As per the company, Pawah will be leading the team which will work to pace up the domestic sales, dealer network management, marketing, service and operational activities to expand Harley-Davidson’s presence in India.
