It’s been quite an eventful week in the motorcycling world. We not only witnessed the launch of eagerly-awaited motorcycles like KTM’s Scalpel, but also spotted some upcoming bikes too. Here’s everything you might have missed out on in the last seven days.
KTM 790 Duke Launched, Finally!
After all the rumours and spy shots, the 790 Duke has finally been launched in India at Rs 8.64 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom India). KTM India’s flagship motorcycle is currently available in nine cities across India. To know more about where and how you can buy one, click here. The Austrian manufacturer is also expected to bring the 790 Adventure as well as a BS6-compliant 200 Duke to India soon.
2020 KTM RC 390 Spotted

Unofficial Bookings For Husqvarna Bikes Begin
KTM-owned Swedish manufacturer Husqvarna is all set to enter the Indian market with the Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 models. KTM dealers have started accepting unofficial bookings for these bikes. More information available here.
Imperiale 400 Pre-Bookings Commence

A Cheaper Thunderbird Is Coming
Struggling to save up for a Royal Enfield Thunderbird? Well, things are about to get a little easier. The manufacturer is expected to bring out a base variant of this model, which is expected to be Rs 7,000 to Rs Rs 8,000 cheaper than the standard bike. Read more about it here.
