The livery will not be making a comeback on the sporty scooter
The MotoGP edition of the Yamaha Aerox 155 has been sold out. Additionally, if you were planning on buying the MotoGP edition variant, we have sad news for you: this particular variant was launched in limited numbers and will not be making a comeback.
The limited edition variant of the scooter was launched at Rs 1,30,000 in September 2021, alongside the standard variants. The MotoGP variant got the same body design as the standard variant, but with snazzy graphics inspired by Yamaha’s bikes in MotoGP. Next to the standard variants, the MotoGP livery gave the scooter a more sporty and race-inspired appeal.

The powertrain, too, remained the same as the standard variant: a 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine drawn from the R15 V4, detuned to produce 15PS and 13.9Nm. Nevertheless, this made the Aerox 155 the most powerful production scooter on sale in India.
Adding to the Racing Blue and Grey Vermillion colour options, Yamaha also launched a Metallic Black variant for the Aerox 155 in December last year.
The MotoGP edition livery is still available for the Yamaha R15 v4, FZ25, MT-15 and RayZR giving these two-wheelers that racing charm. We do, however, hope that Yamaha offered the sporty 155cc scooter in the World MotoGP 60th Anniversary livery.
