2022 Yamaha XMAX 250 gets two new colours, retains the price
Yamaha has launched the 2022 iteration of the XMAX 250 in Indonesia. The updated maxi-scooter has received two new colours while mechanically remaining the same. Thankfully, Yamaha has retained the old price of the maxi-scooter, and it will continue to be sold at RP 62,000,000 (around Rs 3.22 lakh).
The two new colours are Matte Green and Metallic Red. Yamaha has also retained the Maxi Signature Black colour, which was offered with the previous model, of the XMAX 250.
The Matte Green paint scheme manages to lend the XMAX 250 a stylish yet subtle look and it's further complemented by golden alloy wheels. The Metallic Red colour, on the other hand, gives it a sporty and eyeball-grabbing look and it is accompanied by black body panels which adds to the contrast.

The XMAX 250 is offered with modern features such as LED headlight and taillight, multi-function instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, traction control system, smart key, 12V charging port, side stand engine cutoff switch, hazard light and ABS.
Powering the XMAX 250 is a 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 22.84PS and 24.3Nm. The ride of the maxi-scooter is taken care of by a telescopic fork up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, it employs disc brakes at both ends.
The Yamaha XMAX 250 is sold in the Indonesian market and its chances of arrival in India are pretty bleak. That said, if you’re looking for a sporty scooter in India, Yamaha offers the Aerox 155, a worthy contender to the maxi-scooter tag.
