Yamaha Alpha launched at Rs. 49,518 in India

Indian wing of the Japanese auto giant, Yamaha Motors India, has launched its new 110cc scooter- Alpha at Rs. 49,518 (Ex-showroom-Delhi). It is the second offering in the scooter segment by the company after the huge success of the sporty scooter Ray. With the scooter, the company will target the likes of Honda Activa and other unisex scooters in the market.

Yamaha Alpha has been designed as a standard scooter, which can suit all age groups. It has got all the basic features, needed for a perfect family vehicle along with some extra icing on the cake like telescopic front forks. It sports a 113cc, air-cooled engine, which churns out a maximum power of 7bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 8.1Nm at 5,000rpm. Mated with the CVT transmission, the fuel consumption of the scooter is 62kmpl. Yamaha has made available in five active color including Black, Grey, White, Purple and Red.
