Yamaha, the Japanese auto manufacturer will bring four new paint schemes for its 150cc street fighter FZ-S version 2.0. This step of Yamaha clearly focuses on increasing the 150cc two-wheeled machines sales during the upcoming festive spree. The Yamaha FZ-S version 2.0 has a neck and neck competition with the contenders like Suzuki Gixxer and the Honda CB Unicorn 160.
Mechanically, there aren’t any changes noticed in the FZ-S except new colors. The new model of Yamaha is similar to the standard bike equipped with a 149cc air-cooled single-cylinder motor with BlueCore technology that churns out peak power of 13 bhp and maximum torque of 13Nm. The engine power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 5-speed gearbox and these components are mounted on a Diamond frame. The FZ-S version 2.0 is blessed with fuel injected system that provides better fuel efficiency than the Carburetted FZ-S.
It is expected that the company will officially announce the price of these updated models in the next couple of days.
