Yamaha FZ 250 to be launched in India

India Yamaha Motors, the countries major two-wheeler maker, is reported to upgrade its FZ series and is planning to launch Yamaha FZ 250cc in near future. Yamaha is the India's largest company which have biggest collection of 150cc bikes including Yamaha Fazer, Yamaha FZs, Yamaha FZ16 and Yamaha YZF R15. And now the company is likely to join 250cc bandwagon; already there are two 250cc bikes on cards from different bike brands like Honda CBR 250R and Bajaj Pulsar 250.
The new Yamaha FZ 250 will house Fuel Injection technology, four valve and liquid cooled engine to make it better performer in the segment. The body design of the bike will be same as other FZ series bikes and would be inspired by Yamaha FZ 1 which is recently launched supersports bike.
India Yamaha's Yamaha SZ has recently been awarded by Viewer's Choice Bike of the Year 2011 award and it is going to launch revamped version of Yamaha R15 very soon. On the other hand, Yamaha R125 will also be launched very soon, as per media reports.
At present, India Yamaha Motors has a large series of bikes in India and all the bikes are doing well. If the Yamaha FZ 250cc will launch, it competes with Honda CBR 250R, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Mahindra Mojo.
