Sadly, the updates are all cosmetic
Yamaha Indonesia has updated the Lexi maxi-style scooter with new colours for 2022. The Yamaha Lexi is currently offered in three variants, namely the Lexi Standard which retails for Indonesian Rupiah 22,540,000 (on the road, Jakarta) which equates to about Rs 1,19,092, before taxes. Similarly, the Lexi S retails for IDR 25,565,000 (or about Rs 1,35,114) and the Lexi S ABS retails for IDR 28,190,000 or about Rs 1,48,988.
The standard variant gets an additional paint scheme called Matte Green. Other Yamaha maxi-scooter models such as the XMax and NMax 155 connected series already had the Matte Green, and it finally made its way to the Lexi now.

In addition to the new colour, the Lexi now also gets new graphics with minimalist gold highlights on the front, side and rear bodywork, giving it an elegant appeal.
Along with the standard variant, the colour updates are carried out on the S variant as well. The popular Prestige Silver, Matte Black and Matte Blue colours have been tweaked and all the three colour variants get alloy wheels finished in bronze for a sporty appeal.
The Yamaha Lexi carries on with the 124.7 liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which pumps out 11.89PS at 8000rpm and 11.3Nm at 7000rpm. A seat height of 785mm and a kerb weight of 112kg makes it easily accessible for all kinds of riders. Unfortunately, Yamaha is unlikely to launch the Lexi in India, but if you're looking for a sporty maxi-style scooter, then the Aprilia SXR125 could be a great choice for you. And those looking for outright performance will, of course, like the NTorq 125.
