Yamaha reports 30.7 percent annual and 69.7 percent growth in December 2010

Yamaha India Motor which is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Co., Japan (YMC) is doing well in Indian market with its reliable and very good performer two wheelers. Yamaha Indian Motor is the fist company who had stared the sports model in the commuter segment such as Yamaha R15.
Yamaha India Motors is getting good response from market and reported the 69.7 percent sales growth with total units sales of 34839 in the month of December 2010 as compared to 20529 units in the same month the year of 2009. This is a big achievement by the company in Indian market.
The annual report of the bike company is positive and in favour. It had clocked sales of 350264 two wheeler in 2010 as compared to 26,7895 units in 2009 which is the 30.7 percent more than last year.
YIM (Yamaha India Motor) is the doing well in the domestic market along with export. It had sold 258,987 units in 2010 as compared to 218,625 units in 2009 which accounts 18.5 percent more than last year. On the other hand, it has achieved 85 percent growth in this year with total sales of 91,277 units as a compared to 49,270 units in 2009.
The company has exported 8272 motorcycles in the month of December 2010 as compared to 6917 motorcycles in the year of 2009, while the domestic sale is almost just double with 26567 units as compared to 13612 units in 2009.
Yamaha Motors Indian always comes with latest and new technology which attracts everybody and it has recently launched Yamaha SZ series (Yamaha SZ, Yamaha SZ X and Yamaha SZ R) and Yamaha FZ 1 while the major two wheelers of the company's are Yamaha VMAX (1,679cc), Yamaha MT01 (1,670cc), Yamaha YZF R1 (998cc), Yamaha Fazer (153cc), Yamaha FZS (153cc), Yamaha FZ16 (153cc), Yamaha R15 (150cc), Yamaha SS 125 (123cc), Yamaha YBR 125 (123cc), Yamaha YBR 110 (106cc) and Yamaha Crux (106cc).
