Yamaha Reports 44.3 Per Cent Growth In March 2011

The sales graph of Yamaha two-wheeler is increasing with speedy growth and India Yamaha Motors stood 44.3 per cent growth in domestic two-wheeler market in the month of March this year as against same month of previous year. The company sold 25,784 units of two wheelers in domestic market in March, 2011 as compared to 17,864 units in same month of year 2010.

On the other hand, export figures of the company is rising with surprising growth, it grew by 33.9 per cent with sales of 10,984 units in March this year as against sales of 9,596 units of bikes in same month of year 2010. Meanwhile IYM reported 33.9 per cent growth in the month March this year with sales units of 36,768 as compared to 27,460 units in same month of previous year.

India Yamaha Motor sales is mainly contributed by premium bikes in India- Fazer, FZS, FZ16- and the company is now depended on its newly launched Yamaha SZ that comes with two variants like Yamaha SZ X and Yamaha SZ R- the bikes are getting buzz response from market. Its other flagship bikes include Yamaha R15, Yamaha FZ series bikes and Yamaha Fazer.

To attract customers Yamaha has been launching technological sound and reliable bikes in India. And it organizes attractive events like Yamaha Safe Riding Science (YSRS), R15 One Make Race Championship, Riding Clinic, etc. at regional level. Now the company is ready to launch a 250cc bike in India against Honda CBR 250R, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250.

India Yamaha Motor includes lots of popular bikes in its stable which are having international inspired technology, the bikes are: Yamaha VMAX, Yamaha MT01, Yamaha R1, Yamaha FZ1, Yamaha Fazer, Yamaha FZS, Yamaha FZ16, Yamaha SZ, Yamaha SZ X, Yamaha SZ R, Yamaha R15, Yamaha SS 125, Yamaha YBR 125, Yamaha YBR 110 and Yamaha Crux.
