This special scheme offers a reduction in the first three EMIs for its two-wheelers
The COVID-19 lockdown has had severe financial implications on the economy. Culling of manpower and massive pay cuts have made life a lot more difficult. Thankfully, a couple of manufacturers like Yamaha have taken certain measures in a bid to ease the financial load on buyers. The Japanese manufacturer has announced a special finance scheme for the frontline COVID-19 warriors which allows them to purchase any Yamaha two-wheeler on loan and avail a 50 per cent reduction on the first three EMIs of their loan tenure. The offer can be availed from July 1 to 22, 2020, across all authorised Yamaha dealerships in India.
Yamaha had also taken up several other initiatives including spreading public awareness through a sticker messaging campaign and a balloon signage campaign.
It also resumed operations across its manufacturing facilities in India post government lockdown relaxations. Various safety protocols including health monitoring, social distancing and proper hygiene have been put in place to ensure the safety of all the personnel. Frequent sanitation of the workplace, dealership and vehicles, virtual meetings, and alternate seating arrangements to maintain social distancing are pretty much the norms these days.
